In this fast-paced life we often find ourselves concerned more with the "cares of the world" than the "still, small voice" of God. It's easy to be distracted and walk away from God's presence. This pop collection, with two gospel tunes, is aimed at bringing people back into the peace-filled presence of God. Four talented vocalists perform with a live band and with a choir on two selections. This project brought together Christian musicians and singers from at least a half-dozen different churches and several denominations. Many creative non-Christian musicians added their wonderful input as well.
For more than 25 years songwriter Wanda Levine Smith has been writing what she would call "songs from the Lord." While she leads worship in small groups, she wanted the full range of her songwriting to be expressed by those whose first talent is singing.
