The beautiful Anita Mansfield was born in south east Ireland, surrounded by the sounds and mystique of the Celtic Isle.
Anita has been writing songs since the age of 10 and her earthy heritage is apparent in all of her
work.
She studied music and sound at St. Steven's College in Cork, and in '97 she moved to America and sang with various Irish bands in Boston. She moved to California in 2002 and
played keyboards for over 2 years in the very successful band 'Electrical Storm' (tribute to U2) they toured all over the US and abroad.
Anita finished her first solo album in 2005. Her songs sound ethnic, real and yet modern when paired with electric
guitars and her own excellent keyboard work.This album has a Gaelic Rock feel to it, it is a mellow and refreshing album with songs that say something with a positive message. This music will take you on a mystical trip full of blue skies
and dark windy nights. Anita is currently working on her 2nd album and lives in Hollywood CA. (JL)
