Isaiah and Joe formed in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in the summer of 2000, when Isaiah James (guitarist/vocalist)called his close friend Joe Khoroosi (violinist) and proposed starting a musical project. There was an instant rapport between the two musicians, as they both loved the unique mix of sound between jazz/classical violin and rock guitar. They began by covering favorite artists and bands, but quickly started writing original pieces of work. After receiving positive feedback about a demo recorded in a friend's basement, Isaiah and Joe decided to enter the music scene. They started playing bars, coffee houses, and dorm rooms in and around Sioux Falls. Coming to California, they quickly made a name for themselves and joined forces with drummer David Bartel and Bassist Chad Clarke. Signing with Anko Records the summer of 2005 they are now ready begin their grass-roots tour of the United States.
