Anne Cochran tours regularly with Jim Brickman. She also produces her own songs. This particular song was written for Anne by John Chaffee. I am John. Last year I lost my sister, Lyn, who, after surviving breast cancer for 21 years, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, which took her life, two days after her 62nd birthday. The producer of this song, Randy Harper, lost his wife, Hilary, this past August, at the age of 40, to breast cancer. This song does not speak of death, but rather, offers comfort and solace to anyone missing someone at Christmas, whether soldiers in Iraq, families of 9-11 victims, or for any other reason people are apart at the holidays. The CD itself is available at patriciamusic.com, and a portion of the proceeds will be used to further breast cancer initiatives. I am overwhelmed by the very heartfelt response to this song. It has helped me. I hope it helps you.
