Music comes naturally to the son of a trumpet player father and singer/dancer mother. So at 13, Jerry G. formed a band and began writing songs, and as a young adult he booked and managed New York music groups. But the fun and excitement could not support a family, so 30 years passed before the passion was re-ignited in 2003 while performing at a party for friends. After some deep soul searching and time in recording studios he pursued a new dream. In 2004 he released “It’s About Time,†a compilation of songs from his early years. Then in 2005 he created “Jerry G. and Friends,†to cover music from the 60s and 70s. This third CD, “My Way,†merges his passion for music and love for humanity. Also featured on the CD is Rebecca Martens, a gifted vocalist and true professional. Sing, dance, reminisce and enjoy!
One hundred percent of the profits are given directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
