In keeping with scripture these songs sing of Inspiration and Edification to the body of Christ. They cover a variety of styles from traditional to modern Gospel music. Benita's
goal is to reach a variety of God's people with the message of having Faith in God and a Stronger Christian Walk toward and among the brethren. Specifally designed for a variety of formats and venues, one thing remains clear, the message of "Christ In Us, Walking His Way".
Benita was formerly on the SBK/Ultraks Record label with her album release entitled "Thank You" which ranked on the Billboard Charts at home and gave her a #1 Hit single in the U.K. entitled "Changed" where her album was also listed at #3 on the "England Echoes" charts.
A verteran in the commercial T.V. and radio industry, who's vocal stylings have won her an Emmy Award for her records of "Dallas Texas USA" and (2) Cleo Awards for her commercial recordings of "Yellow Cab" and "MBank". She was also one of the first artists to reach national prominance on KTVT'S "Star Search". Some of the other recordings in the commercial field include; Channel 8-Spirit of Texas, Kroger, WingStop, Dallas Gold & Silver, KGGR, HEAVEN 97, Churchs, Cadillac, DCC Colleges, Insurance Depot, soundtrack for RIVERBEND and many more.
Presently she can be seen periodically on the "DayStar International Christian Network / Channel 2", as an associate and featured member of the praise team called "The DayStar Singers", where she has been an onging associate member since 2002.
With the release of her new album she formed the new independant record label entitled: "IMANI RECORDS INC." distributed by Crystal Clear Distribution. She continues to
produce stage & studio productions with her company; "LADY B. PRODUCTIONS" as she has done for the past 15 years.
