I was born in Follansbee WV., and have been singing since my childhood in our parochial school choir as a boy soprano. I sang in high school plays and operettas. For 2 years I sang with Bobby Vinton's orchestra when he made his hit record Roses are Red. After that I had my own band and sang in our local area.
For many years I have done concerts and musical programs.
I did not do any recording until I retired from my management job in 2001. This CD, "Sing to the Lord a New Song," flows from my background as a Permanent Deacon. For many years now I have been doing most of my singing in churches for all occasions. The songs on this album are the most requested from the many services and activities that I have been performing.
I now reside in Rutherford County in North Carolina. I am married, my wife's name is Joann, and we have 5 children and ten grandchildren. Of course, they are my greatest supporters.
