"Away with Dinnerjackets and cultivated boredom here comes Jerry Jenkins & His Band Of Angels. The groups outfit, reminiscent of 'Laurel and Hardy' and 'The Gang', and with their novel interpretations, the band makes songs written 80 years ago sound fresh, as if they had been written yesterday.
When Jerry and his troop play at a dance, the foxtrot is neither groomed nor ironed, but lively and unconstrained. It is seldom that the audience keeps to the conventional dance style, with much amusement (for the band too).
Watching these folks from Berlin live on stage is an experience to remember."
