The name David Foster has become synonymous with "hit song." The well-known producer, artist, label founder, and yes, songwriter, has been recognized by the public as well as his peers over and over for his achievements and excellent work. Those plaudits include 14 Grammys (three for producer of the year) and 42 nominations; a Gemini Award for Best Music Composition; and six Juno Awards in his native Canada. He was also inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
