FEATURED COMPOSER/MUSICIAN, TAMARA TURNER:

Tamara Turner is a professional freelance composer for videos and film as well as a music reviewer and editor in Portland, Oregon. Since the age of 13, she has taken state, regional and national composition prizes for her variety of works, from orchestral to choral. Classically trained and composing since the age of 5, Turner holds a degree in Composition from the University of Oregon with a supporting area in Ethnomusicology. She currently is composer in residence for NW Documentary Arts and Media where she creates original scores for the non-profit's leading documentary films. (www.nwdocumentary.org)

For the last 6 years, Turner has simultaneously worked in the field of Alternative Health, collaborating with a variety of professionals, from working in conjunction with Art Therapist, Mary Zachary Lang, to composing music for body and energy work such as Jin Shin Jyutsu,
