Native America's "Indian Country" comes alive with the sound of Laughing Woman (Mashantucket Pequot) and Eagle's Wings (Ojibwe) revered country/folk style. This husband and wife team write and compose thier own songs. Through thier music, they reflect native life and a connection to the creator, events past and present that have affected thier lives. They use traditional instruments (Drum,Rattle, and Cedar Flutes) as well as modern instruments such as the guitar to express thier music.
Both have participated in performing during the good will games that were hosted by st. Petersberg, Russia. They have also performed in Sweden, Finland, and Poland. They have also performed in Hawaii, and are especially honored to have performed at Pearl Harbor to honor the Dakota Code Talkers, during a presidential Proclamation giving acknowledgement to these brave veterans.
They are the 2002 winner of the "BEST ALBUM FOR FOLK/COUNTRY" at the Native American Music Awards Ceremony. They have also had the privilage to open for the first Award ceremonies in 1998 at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut.
