Harpsichordist and Organist Nancy Metzger has been lauded for her expressive performances of Baroque music. A seasoned performer, she is also a former college music professor, and,the author of Harpsichord Technique: A Guide to Expressivity, now in its 2nd edition. She has concertized on harpsichord and organ throughout the U.S. and abroad. Recent venues include the Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento CA; the San Diego Harpsichord Society; St. Norbert's Priory, Kommetjie, Western Cape, South Africa; Beloit College, Beloit, WI; and the Midwest Historical Keyboard Society.
"Suites & Treats" was reviewed in the American Organist by Agnes Armstrong, who wrote: "Ms. Metzger's playing of this baroque literature is at once elegant and articulate...It is certainly a level above the dull, mechanical playing of this repertoire too often heard these days."
