Hailed as "a superb colorist" with playing that is "full of life and fantasy," pianist Angela Jia Kim has delighted audiences around the world in recital, orchestral, and chamber music performances. Maria Curcio, the eminent protégée of Artur Schnabel, described Angela as "a real virtuoso of the instrument. [with] astonishing artistry at the keyboard."

In addition to performances in major cities around the world such as New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Paris, Warsaw, Toronto, and Montreal, Angela Jia Kim's performances have been broadcast on PBS Television, Japan's NHK telecast throughout Asia, CBC Radio broadcast throughout Canada, New York's WNYC, Washington D.C.'s Voice of America, and Chicago's WMFT-FM (Dame Myra Hess Concert Series.) She recorded this program, which includes works by Mozart, Ravel, Schubert, and Scriabin, for commercial release on the Miró Classical label. She will also be devoting a significant portion of the season to chamber music recitals, including performances at the Laguna Beach Chamber Music Festival with world-renowned pianist Claude Franck. By age five, she was already winning awards, performed her first recital, and had begun her violin studies.
