This is an electronic realisation of my symphonic compositions. These pieces I feel are my best. The symphony #1 (The white goddess), was inspired by my reading of the Robert Graves book of the same name. The piece can be listened to in one or two perspectives. Say for example, background music, or like a visual piece of art a painting for example, where you pay attention to the piece whenever you wish. I wanted to compose something that was like the sky or the sea. Something that was static, yet constantly changing. I'm not sure that I have succeeded. You, the listener, must judge that.
The themes and ideas are supposed to flow like the organic structures in ancient celtic art where one finds no beginning or end in the floral structures that are the inspiration of celtic art. This philosophy also applies to the second harp concerto. I hope you enjoy listening to these pieces.
