Ann Cummings is unique in the classical music world. She presents classical music to be seen as well as heard. A pianist who offers exciting, athletic technique, a sensitive, graceful touch, and a brilliant variety of repertoire, Cummings epitomizes the virtuoso pianist.
Her release of Inside the Music, 20th century revelations follows a style of recording similar to John Cage's album, Variations IV from a live performance at the Feigen-Palmer Gallery, Los Angeles, CA. There is commentary as well as music. The CD also has a programmatic theme based upon Free Will.
Cummings has toured nationally and internationally into Canada. Additionally, Cummings is often featured live on public radio to perform and discuss her work.
