Blue Trick's music combines gritty folk, straight rock & shuffly blues. Soulful vocals & choice guitar licks complement the ever present lock-step rhythms. The songs are straightforward & approachable. But there's a cleverness that keeps you on your feet.

The songs themselves are about everything from a night on the town to an outer space & underwater adventure with a clam. Oh yeah, there are songs about love, too. Sad ones, bitter ones, sarcastic ones. Some are even sweet. Whatever the adventure, they want to share it with each other & with you. You are only mildly surprised when you find out the band lives together. Blue Trick is on friendship's musical journey & everyone is invited to come along.

Blue Trick's debut CD, The Way of the Traveler, was released in the summer of 2000. Their first single from that effort, "No One," spent a few weeks as the top download at Raleigh's indie music site: http://www.duckonbike.com. The band settled in Hood River in the fall of 2001.

Blue Trick's follow-up CD, Happy Ride, was released by May Street Studios in the summer of 2002.
