Here are excerpts from the THIRD ANNUAL BLUES & BOOGIE PIANO SUMMIT, which took place Saturday, November 24th, 2001 at the Historic Southgate House in Newport, Kentucky- New Orleans and Cuban piano stylings from Tom Mc Dermott (from New Orleans)- New Orleans R&B & boogie from Ricky Nye (that's me, from Cincinnati, Ohio)- pure blues & and knocked-out singing from one of the patriarchs, Big Joe Duskin (also from Cincinnati, Ohio, and 81 years old, thankyouverymuch!), and Renaud Patigny, the "Boogie Woogie Demon" from Brussels, Belgium with some very exciting & refined boogie.
